At least that's what Kevin Landrigan is reporting in the Nashua Telegraph:
It’s all hush-hush, but a deal on a state employee contract is close to being worked out.
Credit State Employees Association chief negotiator Diana Lacey and chief state talker Tom Manning with going the extra mile in hopes of getting it done.
Gov. John Lynch had set a private marker of wanting to get this done by the end of July to save $25 million in state personnel spending over the next two years. It looks like that’s assured.
