Deroy Murdock latest column, published in the Union Leader, has some outlandish ideas about health care:
Rather than endorse such big-government overkill, pro-freedom members of Congress should promote a simple concept: Let every American own and control an individual health insurance policy that can be transported among jobs, self-employment, graduate school and life's other twists and turns. (more)
He's talking about letting the power of consumer choice improve quality and bring down prices. Doesn't he know that the rules of economics don't apply to health care? It's different from every other good or service, so we can't trust the market. That's what I keep hearing, anyway.
