Claremont's daily paper, the Eagle-Times, publishes it last issue today.
If readers don't pick up the local paper, advertisers won't support it. And if people can post their classifieds for free on Craig's List, they won't pay to put them into the paper.
It means that we have fewer people covering local news, and that's a shame.
