In a show of bipartisan common sense, the Senate has voted 83-7 to remove federal funds from ACORN, the community organizing group dedicated to voter fraud and embezzling public funds. ACORN is an organized crime syndicate masquerading as a community service group. The only things it should receive from Congress are subpoenas.
Kudos to Senators from both parties who bowed to common sense and approved the Johanns. Let's hope this kind of behavior is contagious and makes it over to the House.
