$10 prescription drugs

Mark Perry at Carpe Diem noted Wal-Mart's new program offering 300 generic prescription drugs for just $10 each, and with free mail delivery. He suggests an alternative to nationalizing the health care industry:
Maybe instead of turning over America's health care system to the federal government, we should turn it over to Wal-Mart.

The high cost of prescription drugs is often cited as evidence of the need to take health care decisions out of the marketplace. Funny how markets tend to lower prices when given the chance to work.
