"Flawed budget process is truly in need of repair"

Freshman State Representative Carl Seidel of Nashua submits an op-ed to the Telegraph criticizes the way lawmakers crafted their budget this year; first deciding what they wanted to spend, and then taxing the people of New Hampshire to pay for it:
The whole budget process seems to be backward and set up to force a time crunch in June, where some alternates are not given time for discussion or amendments.

All I heard when we started the session was we have an income problem but when I responded with, No, we have a spending problem, the Democrats looked at me as if I had said a dirty word.
