The conservative-leaning think-tank Josiah Bartlett Center for Public Policy is launching a "Free Market Film Series" with the New Hampshire debut of the climate change documentary "Not Evil, Just Wrong" on Sunday at the Draft Bar and Grill in Concord. Tickets are free but seating is limited.

Not Evil Just Wrong premieres Sunday

Filmmaker Phelim McAller's attempt to ask Al Gore some inconvenient questions has garnered him, and his film, national attention. McAleer was a guest last night with Lou Dobbs.


Seems like Al Gore would have been better off just answering the question. Instead, he magnified the voice of opposition by trying to drown it out.

Indie Filmmakers market through grassroots

The Washington Times looks at this weekend's planned premiere of "Not Evil Just Wrong", and how independent filmmakers are using social networks and DVDs to get their work to their audience.

Mr. McAleer and Miss McElhinney have taken the more direct approach in spreading the word about "Not Evil."

"We're doing direct mailing; we're sending out lots of e-mails; we're doing lots of social networking," Miss McElhinney says. "We're reaching out to groups around the country that feel that this is an important story, and we're asking them to help in a kind of grass-roots effort as well."

The directors hope those grass-roots efforts will lead to the film being seen by an audience in the six figures at the premiere parties on Oct. 18.

Hosts New Hampshire Debut of "Not Evil Just Wrong" on October 18th

(Concord) The Josiah Bartlett Center for Public Policy today announced the launch of its Free Market Film Series with the New Hampshire debut of the climate change documentary "Not Evil Just Wrong" on October 18th in Concord. The film investigates the scientific shortcomings of global warming alarmists like Al Gore. The Josiah Bartlett Center will host a free screening using the big screens at the Draft Bar and Grill on Main Street in Concord.

"The costs and the benefits of massive overhaul of our national energy system are enormous, and should be decided based on sound science and rational debate, rather than hype and hysteria," said Josiah Bartlett Center Investigator Grant Bosse. "We're happy to give New Hampshire the opportunity to hear both sides of the argument."

"Not Evil Just Wrong", produced by filmmakers Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinny, examines the shaky scientific work that Al Gore used in his documentary "An Inconvenient Truth", the costs of environmental alarmism in Africa stemming from the ban on DDT, and the economic price that Gore's climate change regime would impose on coal-producing rural America. The producers are debuting the film simultaneously across the country at 8pm EST on Sunday, October 18th.
